Thanks for the lovely comments. This piece was done for a project at college on which I illustrated some lyrics from the musical Sweeney Todd. I wanted the viewer to feel sorry for him and be scared by him in equal measure so i tried to make this image menacing whilst also suggesting his loneliness and isolation. I used le franc vinyl paints on illustration board. I've only recently discovered these paints but they're lovely to work with.
